Oh my gosh…that is an amazing time! I believe you said the shuttle picked you up at 10? So this definitely sounds like something I need to check into for my Sept. cruise! Not to bother you but did you check out the breakfast at the hotel? And do you mind letting me know how much the shuttle cost and how to book it? Your photos are awesome so far. If everyone who has a later than lunchtime boarding time all decided to try to board early for lunch…the ones with the earlier boarding times would end up in a crowded mess! My opinion only…but…show up at your scheduled boarding time…not the time you would like to board!

I booked that hotel (King suite NS) for our September Utopia cruise. I’ll be interested in whether the breakfast is decent…as well as the shuttle ride to the port! Did you book the shuttle with the hotel? We are thinking of checking out the Italian restaurant Zarellas which I believe is just up the road from the hotel. How far away is the grocery store…other stores? Looking forward to this next leg of your cruise journey…really enjoying this so far!

Yikes! More commonly used to alert crew to hull damage on board some lines as well. Echo, Echo, Echo is the code for a possible collision with another ship or the shore aboard Royal Caribbean ships, or if the ship is starting to drift.

If you have not already done so…You can use a computer or tablet to connect to the cruise planner. Just go to the Royal Caribbean cruise website and click Manage my cruise. You will need your reservation number for this but this is how to create an account. The cruise planner offers all port excursions as well as everything onboard…internet…drink packages…dining choices… You also can view any available documents and payment info. The actual RC app is something you want to download to your phone. Again you will have to log in with your info but that is where you can see your check in date and so much more info.

Definitely Uber or Lyft! Personally I stay away from taxis especially for 30-45 minute drives!

That picture cannot possibly be a picture of an Icon room? I mean…that couch looks just a bit old and that rug reminds me of a different ship’s decor! Your breakfast looks amazing except for the sausage link(if that is what it is). I just can’t do breakfast sausage unless it is very well crisped and browned! But man…those eggs look perfect!

Thanks I do see this link. However for my cruises the only one showing “manage your booking” is my upcoming May cruise. When I switch to my September cruise, although it shows my room number /muster info…there is no “manage your booking” underneath! Of course, none of this matters because we all know there is something very off regarding this entire subject! And Yes I believe we should just let this go because the OP has not returned so most likely won’t.

Not sure who you booked this cruise with…but certainly you did not book it for 4 people. Number one: I don’t think there is any type of room that can be booked for 4 people for $1500…is there? Number two: when you book a reservation, you must enter all the names into the booking at that original time. As @F1guynz notes…you can change names however…they must be on the booking to begin with. Your picture is very confusing! It notes that you have 318 days to set sail yet it shows March 3, 2024 as final payment! I have never seen a final payment due sooooo far in advance! What kind of cruise is this, anyway? As for your statement: Now I’m feeling like I’m going to have to sue and just recoup my lawyer fees, my money back, plus punitive damages all I can say is WOW! Good luck with that! I don’t mean to sound demeaning but my gosh this definitely sounds fishy!

Well, first thing is you’ll need to add the 18% gratuity to your total price per person…which is about $102 more per person. Next…you have 3 port days and if you plan to be off the ship a good part of each day, well…that’s a lot of time with no opportunity to use your drink pkgs. If she is a drinker and wants the package…why not buy it for her and get the refreshment package for you? Then when you want something alcoholic…just pay for it. OR…neither one gets the package and you just pay as you go for drinks! Most likely it will be cheaper than paying over $1300 for 2 drink packages. This is strictly my opinion!

I am definitely Two Cruises on this one! The largest room I have had to date is a JS on Independence. Would I like to experience the suite life? Yes I would. However…I enjoy the cruising much more than the room experience.

I’m trying to understand your statement. But you aren’t getting anything free…you are paying for whatever package you get. In your example, you will pay for the shot…but you already paid for the mocktail when you bought the refreshment package, no?
