It's a shame you will miss Bahrain.  There are lots of interesting things to do there.  Last time I was there I went and visited the Crown Prince's camel farm !!  Very interesting.

Might as well get it changed in the system so you both will have the Diamond status and get double the benefits on your honeymoon!

its swings and roundabouts for different people. its a shame I wont get to visit Bahrain but 2 days in Abu Dhabi sounds good to me

Having done Abu Dhabi a few times previously it looks like I'll be taking great advantage of the Deluxe Drinks package on this trip ! 
 
I presume the Feb sailings will have Bahrain cancelled also ?

Good to hear, ive been keeping an eye on one of the facebook groups for a recent sailing and all sounds good. 
I'll happily report after my Feb one how things are.

I'm going on one of the last ones in march but as I've said, the facebook group is reporting things are back to normal.
 

It appears that the tensions are subsiding. Peace through strength prevailing.  Not all the way out of the woods but significantly better.   Last nights deliberate "missing" signifies that Tehran is not really interested in getting into a fight they can't win.  I'm hoping those that will be going  through the affected areas have  wonderful relaxing cruises...

I contacted them over facebook messenger stating I had heard some rumors that the Feb cruises were cancelled, that was their reply.

Just heard this morning on the news that the White House Administration is monitoring shipping lanes in the region which include cruise lines, oil tankers, etc. and will be determining whether or not to suggest OR issue a travel restriction of ALL ships, cruises, etc. to stay clear of the region.  Lets keep our eyes and ears open for any future announcements that anyone might hear and share it quickly on the blog for those cruising in the area so they are made aware of and can alter/change their respective travels.

I highly suggest joining the Facebook group, its certainly keeping me upto date on peoples experiences for the Dubai season. I have not heard anything negative so far. apart from Sir Bani Yas being cancelled due to wind.
