People are exposed to viruses everyday. There is no reason to contact Royal about an everyday occurrence. I hope you are feeling better soon.
-
They are not refusing to honor anything THEY put on their website. You, unfortunately, seemed to have misunderstood how this process works.

Insane Discourse about the World Cruise
TXcruzer replied to Lexster's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
No sir, not at all. This just shows the absurdity of what is being posted. Do you think you can see the northern lights off the coast of Brazil? Do you think they installed Crown Loft Suites on Serenade for this cruise? -

Insane Discourse about the World Cruise

one of my favorites was the Tik Tok poster who, on 2 different occasions posted the following reports. 1. Pinnacle members were treated to an evening viewing the Northern lights while all other passengers were not permitted on the outside decks (mind you this was in the fort week and the ship was off the eastern coast of Brazil, south of the equator) 1. Pinnacle members were "given" upgraded accommodations that other cruises were not permitted to book. The "reporter" used photos of an Oasis class CL suite photo for the Pinnacles and a standard inside room stock photograph for the others. Let us not forget all the drunken swingers and nightly orgies on board as reported by many...................... -

The VAST majority of the social media surrounding the WC is being posted by individuals not even on the ship. -
Thanks for adding your experience. I brought this up to a bartender in Schooner on Wonder last year, and he told me Royal pays them the gratuity on loyalty drinks.
-
The receipts I receive, state at the bottom, that gratuity has been paid. No, I do not have a picture of the receipt handy
-
The servers do get the automatic gratuity for the C&A loyalty drinks, this has been posted and conformed many times on multiple boards/threads.

or a shot of Baileys for the next morning's coffee

You aren’t charged for a floater on a frozen drink because it isn’t extra liquor. All the frozen blended drinks are blended as virgin, then the liquor is poured on top at serving.

Travel insurance - how many travelers?

Do you want all 3 of you to receive benefits upon a claim, or are you going to file a claim to get your cruise fare refunded and/or emergency airfare home and then eat the cost of the other two? -
There is no more economical way (not even close) to have internet onboard than the purchase of the ship's package.

Depending on where you live this could be disastrous. In some states, the moment you change the address the ID is no longer valid, and one is left with no photo ID until the new one arrives. OP is better off, IMO, just rolling with what he has (which is 100% acceptable for the cruise) until the conclusion of his trip.

two 17 and two 18 year olds traveling together

FYI for booking purposes Royal does not consider an 18 year old as an adult. -
Ok, that’s new then.

When one spends $775,000 on a fare, they deserve to have the rules bent a little. -
