  1. Yup, special lunch. It's in the MDR with Key but on opposite sides is the MDR. It's funny they kept us separate and I have no idea if their menu was different but the lunch was excellent. We had I think 34 people doing a back to back. It's a great experience that I want to do again but not as easy from NJ as it is Florida.
  2. Our Liberty cruise in September there are no more junior suites left which I found very strange. We have a suite guarantee but everything will shake out. A lot of moving parts with cruise cabins.
  3. Same and thought I was going nuts. Glad its not just me.
  4. Nope you leave everything right where it is and it's very nice. Also when you re board you can get to your room whenever you feel like it while everyone else can't. You just open the door to the hallway and go and no one will say anything. It's such a great experience.
  5. Thanks because with junior suites ya never know. It's kinda the unsuited suite.
  6. I also contacted Royal Caribbean through Facebook which is a great place to get very fast responses, but I contacted them about the "Key and suite" guest line at Cape Liberty and if that applied to Junior suites. Usually I get a pretty good answer but they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. They said they need to get back to me and when they did they said that line is for Key guests only because they paid extra for perks. I know it said Key and suite guests so will definitely try to hop in that line.
  7. It's gonna be AI doing this soon and no human interaction or input at all. Then you can't reason or ask for a different room.
  8. Ah so the number of suites are held back for people with guarantees? It's an interesting system.
  9. Ok we booked a Suite guarantee a long time ago for this September, well over a year before the price was crazy good and I had the next cruise book later deal. Anyway we haven't been assigned a room which is normal and I don't expect to much closer till sailing. Anyway just for fun I check to see what is left with junior suites because 99.9% that is what will be assigned. It's been around 5 or 6 and 4 being connecting. I just checked and there are no junior suites to even book now on the Royal Caribbean website. Is that odd and it's there anything to gleam from? There are really only a few suites left period, I think 3 or 4 of the even higher suites.
  10. I actually Facebook messaged Royal Caribbean which is a great way to contact Royal Caribbean and get a super fast response and usually I get good info. I asked them about the Key/Suite guest line at Cape Liberty and if Junior suites use that and they seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. They said that was for Key guests only and a bunch of stuff that made me understand they don't didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
  11. Holy freaking wow! That is a serious back to back! My goodness very freaking cool. Hawaii to Sydney 17 nights is one heck of a voyage. Are there other stops? Forgive me because I have no idea.
  12. Oh I forgot to mention something. People are vaping kinda anywhere. I find it very annoying. That has to be something that needs to be addressed by Royal Caribbean and all cruise lines.
  13. Reservations are not accepted or required, a parking space is guaranteed. http://www.cruiseliberty.com/directions_parking.html Find this all strange and confusing. I also can't find where to prepay because it's not on this website?
  14. Yes, I agree because on the Cape Liberty website it explicitly says prepay is not accepted. I'll find the link.
  15. Diamond is pretty phenomenal! The 4 drinks whenever and wherever is just so perfect me because I'm not a big drinker. I just get Truly"s though because they are only 100 calories. I know they are a cheaper drink but I like them. We will be at 130 points after this cruise so getting there slowly to Diamond+. Have to book suites going forward.
  16. We were just at Cape Liberty a few weeks again and get is a line for Key and suite guests but does that apply to Junior suites which I assume we are gonna be assigned?
  17. I just can't understand why they took away the fun barcode trick. I find that kinda annoying but I mean it is what it is.
  18. I definitely check multiple times a day but I login a bunch of times a day and open the app anyway whether I had a guarantee or not. I love watching the countdown. My son likes to too especially when is Coco next for him.
  19. So are you emailed when your room assignment has been made or do you just login the website or open the app and see it on accident?
  20. I saw a quick video and I didn't think it looked that crazy. Honestly nothing too scary in my opinion. The crew has seen worse for sure.
  21. I think with all the cruises we have done I think we did dinner at the Windjammer 2 times and it was very mellow, very low key and almost relaxing.
  22. Nope, they never took it. They did put a sticker on the back that's all. We keep them as souvenirs as I assume most do,
  23. Yes we were able to keep both sea pass cards. Have a great time! Our honeymoon cruise was on Explorer 9 days to Canada/NE and splurged for a grand suite because it was our honeymoon. Ironic thing is I was laid off just before our honeymoon. Good news is I got a way better job after that I still have to this day.
  24. I was gonna say don't you get special embarkation perks? I like the sound of a special line!
