Got caught up last night. It looks like you had an amazing time, aside from the excursion that went awry. The pictures look amazing. I can't wait to hear all the stories and see the NSFTB pictures in person in a few short months! -

@TheBoss518 and I love using some of the new slang (poorly) with our kids and watching them cringe in horror, especially the daughter. It's so much fun -
Oasis has Giovannis vs Jamies Italian on Harmony Oasis has the Music Hall, where Harmony has Wonderland Oasis has Plamakers where Harmony has Sabor, which I hated Oasis has what many consider to be the best Aquashow (Aqua80) Oasis has El Loco Fresh, while Harmony has Mini Bites that kinda does the ELF menu Oasis has a pool in the solarium, Harmony doesn't. Oasis has Portside BBQ, Harmony doesn't. Oasis has Cats, Harmony has Grease in the main theater. I have sailed both ships, if the itinerary is the same, while Oasis is older than Harmony, I would probably pick Oasis. Portside BBQ, Playmakers and El Loco Fresh are huge hits with my family. I also would watch Aqua80 every day if I could. I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting, but those are the highlights

This is when you come to the rescue, and just say "It's for the people, now go stand next to the gorilla, it's what they want." out of curiosity.....what were those 4 Hwerid looking things floating in the soup? Also, everything tastes better in the street vendors overseas because they are using the same fry oil from probably 1980, and it is just pure lard, and decades of accumulated.......flavors.....As gross as this sounds, it makes for some tasty treats! -

I had a blast today getting caught back up. The pictures were great. I saw the pictures of the rooftop and immediately knew why hubby was having a great time. I'm not too familiar with Gaudi's work but now I am interested. If K loved the gothic areas of Barcelona, she will love Eze etc. It's all narrow winding streets. Keep an eye out for flies. Did anyone give you a hard time at the cathedrals over the bare shoulders? That is definitely a thing in France and Italy (the Vatican for sure). Some won't let you inside. You may want to pack a light cover up on those days if you weren't aware. Remember, in France, skip the fried ice cream and try to find the violet ice cream. The food in Italy will be amazing. If hubby loved the tapas, he will like the antipasti there too. A great refreshing one (and one of my favorites) on hot days is prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe. -

WAKE UP!! via Apple TV on GIPHY -
I've done this a few ways. 1st time was with Sixt, we flew into FLL - Rented from the airport, stayed in Miami Beach and returned at a location downtown and took an uber to the port. At the time, they were relatively new to the market, so their rates were SUPER cheap, and they did not have a one way fee. I have a cruise coming up next month. We are again flying into FLL, and again staying in Miami Beach. We are renting through Avis this time. Thanks to the corporate discount rate my wife gets with her job, its very cheap, and again doing a one way. We are returning the car at a location about a block from the hotel, and then taking an uber to the port. Again, no one way rental fee was nominal so we avoid the airport traffic. Many people rent and return at the airport. It's a short uber ride from Miami airport to the cruise terminal. FLL is a different story, especially if you don't stay in FLL like me.

I am so glad that I personally don't have a skin care/hair care/eye care etc routine. The stuff on the ship works fine for me. Toothbrush, toothpaste, pit stick and a razor and I'm done. @TheBoss518 on the other hand...... -

@Lovetocruise2002 Have you had a cruise yet where something hasn't gone horribly wrong or just plain weird? Though I have an interesting tale of woe as well for our upcoming cruise in August that I'm not entirely sure is truly fixed yet. Maybe RC got their IT team from wish.com. -

The donkeys are easy, their pen is on the side of the main road as you hike up the hill, you don’t even have to interact. The pigs are even easier, they are ceramic -

Another fun Eze fact I just rediscovered. Since the village is at the top of a mountain, and you basically have to walk up to the top to get there. One of the hotels has donkeys that bring peoples luggage from the parking lots up the mountain to the hotel! I took this picture in 2008 when @TheBoss518 and I were on our Honeymoon. I don't know if these two are still there. -

OMG!!!! I am so far behind on all of these blogs I have been so busy with work, and freeloaders etc etc. @Lovetocruise2002 I cant wait to follow along (as best as I can) I am so jealous of this trip. (more on that later) 1) K looks stunning in her dress, @TheBoss518 agrees here too 2) If you find the, when the freeloaders are gone class, send it my way so I can prepare. Johnny is moving on to middle school. There was a moving up ceremony the other day, and they played a side show of pictures of all of the kids through the years. Between the pictures and the music chosen.......I swear someone was cutting onions behind me..... 3) We both laughed so hard at the CE conversation that Johnny came into the room to make sure we were okay... 4) After your flights talk, I am not looking forward to booking our flights to Scotland next summer. We already have our flights for Allure (PE on Delta, and they weren't horrible) 5) Here is the later part. I have been lucky enough to have traveled to Europe a number of times. I have an Aunt who lives in Luxembourg so I have an excuse to go. I got to spend an entire summer vacation with them when I was in high school, but I digress. Anyway, they had a summer home in Le Cannet with is just north of Cannes, so I have been to Nice and Eze a bunch of times. Eze is my favorite little village to visit. It's a cute place to walk around. I'm not sure if it will still be there, but look for the shop with the little pigs out front. If you can find it, try the violet ice cream with the candied violets on top. It is most commonly found in another village (Tourettes-Sur-Loup), but may have made its way to Eze as well. On the hot summer days it's quite refreshing. Speaking of hot summer days, it will be boiling hot there so stay hydrated!!! -
For these things, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason as to when they show up. They just do when they do.

She won't.

Its been a busy weekend, and I'm just getting caught up. Love the room pictures, and I am glad you are having a good time! @Lovetocruise2002 those are exactly how the star class receipts are. I distinctly remember our first time, and we had a great waiter at GT who explained that since we have the "package" it will show everything zero'd out on the slip, gratuity was already taken care of, so no need to add any extra unless we wanted to. We also find the jewelry store people pushy. I still laugh when I was going to get the boss something nice and was willing to go a little crazy, and she ends up picking the cheapest thing in the store. I remember the worker all excited as we were looking at the expensive things and then the attitude changing when she said....that one....for a whopping $200.. @Neesa I have not been in a windjammer since 2020
