  1. I approve of your beverage selections. My Bezos order arrived today with some cruise items. We got our new cups clips, and some items that The Boss wanted. I left out a shirt I ordered that will make an appearance for Shenanigans that I am causing myself...more to come on that next week. The dog was not from Bezos, but he has been the ultimate freeloader.....
  2. The adolescent in me always chuckles every time I walk past these teas in the grocery store. Their marketing dept. are my kind of people.
  3. @She Sails Away When in Alesund, if activity level allows book through RC it's called Stranda Mountain Explorer. It's a bus tour that eventually takes you to a ski resort. You ride in a gondola to the top of the mountain. The transitions to the gondola are easy. There is a bit of an uphill walk from there, but it's very short and the views are breathtaking. Added bonus, there are waffles!
  4. Now we're on to something. Vitamin C in the AM, Maybe some lavender liqueur added to the bubbles in the evening to help you relax and sleep. I'm willing to participate in a study to compare the efficacy of that vs melatonin.
  5. Also, my son would lose his mind over that hippo. He is infatuated with them and asks Santa for one every Christmas. He is now up to 6 stuffed hippos in his collection. If he saw that one, it would be 7 with that one stuffed into our luggage
  6. Alcohol is used as a disinfectant.....just sayin...... At least there weren't any random peppers.....
  7. @Plasticbrain Sorry to see you go. I got to experience a Norway cruise a couple of years ago (July 2022) with @Lovetocruise2002, you can find our live blog in my signature if you are curious. I have to say, it was one of my favorite cruises to date. We visited Kristiansand, Alesund, Stavanger, and Flam. My kids continually talk about that cruise and want to go back. Their favorite thing to eat were the waffles. I also thought they were quite tasty. I would love to go back and hike prekestolen. We did a boat tour into Lysefjord instead, which worked out better because it was cold and rainy that day.
  8. I agree. I don't think they anticipated the demand for quick tasty tacos etc. I also agree that they need to move the nacho cheese. Its embarrassing how much time I spent in those chat rooms......
  9. impatiently waiting for the biscuits and grapefruit photo..........
  10. I love how this blog took a quick turn to my childhood. I'm also a teen from the 90's. This made me go down a rabbit hole of all my favorite music videos on YouTube. This made me legit laugh for a few minutes. There HAS to be a picture of hubby rocking this type of outfit..... perhaps this is best left unanswered....... Have a great time on Labadee. Hopefully Mother Nature took her midol.....sorry for the sexist joke....but really.....she better behave today for you.
  11. I too love the ships early in the morning before it "wakes up." I tend to be an early riser too and enjoy walking around, and nice cup of coffee and as @OCSC Mike says....pre-breakfast. I' glad you made it safely on board, and was still able to get your funnel cake. It's too bad you didn't get your full beach club lunch. I really like the food there. The people that live on the island probably ate well that night
  12. annnnnnnd here come the spice.......I tried sending you all the good vibes I possibly could. Hopefully this system moves out of the area quickly for you and its all fair seas and following winds for the rest.
  13. Sounds like the perfect table! I am going to pretend I didn't see that Aqua80 photo...... I should also mention, any time I'm in the car with my son, and The Power of Love comes on my radio, he makes me change the station because "its not the same without the aqua theater."
  14. First a flowrider widow, and now a Cats widow??!!?? What did you do to make them so mad that they would rather see Cats than hang out with you?
  15. Portside is so good!! I could eat there all week and be happy.....well, except I still need night 1 fillet in CK
  16. Yes you can do one way rentals. You would then have to either drop off your family at the port, and bring the vehicle to a rental return location, then uber/lyft back to the port, or drop the car and have everyone uber/lyft to the port. You would then have to do the same in reverse to get home. You can price this out at any of the rental agencies. There is usually a checkbox for "return to a different location" Sometimes though, you may find, its actually cheaper to keep the car for the week, park at the port, and bring it back to the original location than it is for two one way rentals, and ride share fees etc etc. Also the convenience of just having the car there too should be factored into your decision.
