They'll be plenty of fun stuff to do don't worry. On a cruise no one thing ruins it for us. Things don't always work out, just move on to the next thing. Go with the flow is our motto. Have a great cruise!
Oh, everyone is still super excited about the cruise. That’s a little disappointing but it won’t take away from the fun we will have and the memories we will create.

I don't want to be the downer here, but Johny Rockets is no longer on Voyager since it's amplification...
Well, that sucks. I do appreciate the info. Now I can lower their expectation before we get on the ship.

Thank all of you for your insights.

My teenagers are excited there is a Johnny Rockets on Voyager of the Seas even though they have never eaten there. My first question is how is the food? Secondly, I think I read somewhere you could use your Deluxe Drink Package to get milkshakes there, is that accurate?

Was on a Disney cruise and we went to their private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. They are consistent and clear in their pronunciation, it’s Castaway Key.
-
We got a BOGO 50% off several weeks ago ($59.99) and today the same offer came up except the price is $64.99.
-
Not sure when your cruise is but my is in June and it shows refreshment package at $26.99 per day or the coffee card at $31.

But 18% is also added to the Deluxe Beverage Package so the mark is 81*1.18=95.58/day. That's still 6 and not 7 but also not 5.
If they are wine drinkers it's more like 8.
Great answer. In my defense, it’s $2.42 from being 7. LOL

At $81 per day, you would need to drink almost 7 alcoholic drinks per day. But also remember, your package also includes other drinks like specialty coffee, sodas, bottled water, etc. These items I would assume would be included in the beverage package. If I was going to be off the boat for the best of two days, me personally would pass on the Deluxe package but I know many people it would still be the better deal.
-
My understanding is if one person gets the Deluxe package everyone in the cabin 21 and over is also required to purchase that package. I have seen on some videos that if you explain your wife is not a drinker they may let her purchase the beverage package instead of the Deluxe but she will be required to purchase some sort of beverage package.
I am by no means an expert but that is my understanding.
Also, since your sailing is in August, I would be shocked if there isn’t a sale on the Deluxe package before then.

Lol, no worries! I don't mind sharing.
Ours was $413 per person (with tip included). I believe it was 63.99 pp.
It's 70.99 pp right now on our sailing. I saw it go as low as 53 with BOGO but I missed out on cancelling / re-buying
Thanks so much. I got our package with the BOGO for $59.99. Would love to see it go to $53 since I am paying for 3 it could save me $100. Again, thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

All excursions are now up on cruise planner!
I just checked though, and everything is as expensive as I've seen it (I check daily). Thankfully we have everything we want booked. We have:
- drink package (a must for us or we'd leave the ship in debt)
- Dinner at Giovanni's on night 1 (We LOVED Giovanni's on Grandeur last year)
- All access ship tour for day 2 (My son loves this kind of stuff and I do too! Happy it's back)
- Chaccoben Mayan Ruins and Bacalar lagoon (we also did this last year, it's amazing)
- 3 reef snorkel in Cozumel
- Day 5 is going to be just relaxing
Not trying to be nosy but do you mind saying what you ended up paying for the drink package? I am on the same cruise the following week and have purchased the drink package and wondering if it might go lower
Thanks

We had MTD set for our cruise in June but after reading many reviews on various sites and videos on you tube, it appears there is a good chance you have to wait in line even with a reservation. As a result, we have opted for one of the set dining times which appears to not result in waiting.

We love love Paradise Beach - my kids are 10 and 14. Chankanaab and Playa Mia are also good if you think your girls will want more than a beach and pool. Paradise does have those big inflatables in the ocean, but my kids (especially my 14yo girl) don't like how much work it takes to get on them so the additional cost was a waste of money for us. Cozumel has an Amazing Race that is based on the tv show which you could book through their website https://amazingcozumelrace.com/
Watch some videos on Paradise Beach and it looks very good. Thanks for ideas.

Thanks Matt. I will have two 14 year old girls. Can you provide a couple of recommendations in Cozumel?
-
Have any experience with Playa Mia Beach Club in Cozumel?
-
Anyone have experience booking excursions in Cozumel through a private company and not RCL?
-
How long do you have to pay for a cruise, let’s say a year from now?
-
We are on Voyage of the Seas this summer and our price so far is $59.99. Of course, I am constantly checking to see if it will go lower but I doubt it.
My question is can you use the drink package in the specialty dinning restaurants?
-
Thank you

I believe it is 4B

We have a Spacious Ocean View Balcony stateroom of the Voyager of the Seas. Does anyone know about the sofa in this class of room, ie does it make into a bed?

I have done the same for a June sailing and it looks super close to the terminal.
