Not a stupid question at all. I wondered the same thing until someone told me. It will show up in your cruise planner. Not all sales apply to every sailing. Sometimes you will receive an email, but not always. I check my cruise planner at least once a week. Drink packages are almost always more expensive on the ship. You can purchase now and if the price drops, cancel for refund and book again. You can register for your Roll Call on your specific sailing and others in the group will help watch for sales.

Welcome to Royal Caribbean Blog! We have done all 3 ships and loved each of the sailings. I would agree with the others and recommend Indy or Navigator and especially with the kids. However, if there is any way you could pull off 7 nights on an Oasis class I would go that route.

That's about all I use it for now since I call RCblog home.

I hear ya. This Harmony GC was definitely not in the budget, but I requested extra shifts in my part-time to make it happen. Hopefully you guys can make it happen. YOLO

Looking forward to our first Panoramic OV on the Alaska group cruise. We were originally going to do a balcony, but that extra $1000 will cover our airfare and pre-cruise hotel.

Keep in mind that just because you booked a "'guarantee inside cabin", this does not mean you cannot move. Find the cabin that you want, in the same category, and ask your agent to move you. Points don't expire but once you redeem you must book cruise within 14 days. ALSO...I just learned the hard way you CANNOT roll the rewards into a group cruise. Royal initially said yes, but after I cashed in and I booked into the Harmony group cruise they declined the $250 obc

Well Carnival didn't last long. They have already pulled out as a sponsor on the site.

My wife just reminded me of something we saw on Navigator a couple years ago. A guy walking into the Windjammer refused to use the antibacterial dispenser. A crew member very nicely asked him a second time to please wash in which he rudely replied "no". Not 3 minutes later I watched as the same jerk reached in and grabbed some french fries with his bare hands. I brought it to the attention of another crew member and they quickly removed the fries.

I was reading the past posts on the Roll Call for the Sept 16th Harmony sailing (group cruise). A few folks mentioned that the RCblog group cruise was part of that sailing. I got a chuckle out of one members reply...

I actually did a scope on our recent Harmony cruise. The "wash your hands" video got stuck on a loop and went on and on for what seemed like hours. It stopped shortly after I started the scope.

We looked in and left. If memory (a little cloudy from drink pkg) serves me correctly, everyone seemed to be wearing same headphones.

No glow party on Harmony in May, but they did have the "silent party".

Carival is now a sponsor. They listed nine free cruises (in exchange for 375,000 to 1,2 million points) but sold out quickly. Royal needs to step up and offer some cruises!

Unfortunately no. I am just now booking the group cruise. I redeemed the reward and sent the info to MEI. MEI will contact Casino Royale to book and get obc added to reservation.

I cashed in another $250 in obc for the Harmony group cruise. To date playing MyVEGAS has awarded me $650 in obc and I have not spent $1 on the game.

Now that we pre-purchase drink packages, excursions and specialty dining our onboard account is usually no more than $200 or $300.

Sept 16, 2017 Excited to announce that I am finally booked for the Harmony group cruise. Look forward to sailing with old and new friends alike. HUGE thanks to my lovely wife for being so supportive of my cruise addiction and allowing me to go. She is unavailable due to a new job but she is booked the Alaska group cruise.

Hmmm. Indy is not in Galveston. Liberty there until at least May 2019.
