  1. I don't know, but for many reasons, I hope not. If it's there, and still alive, then it means the ship has a rodent problem. Sure, some will eat large insects (but I don't think anyone wants those on board, either) fish (doubtful at sea) and birds (very large owls).
  2. And yet children have been cruising with parents for decades without an app.
  3. Huh, I have never had this happen. One of my favorite third-party sites is cruisedeckplans.com - useful because you can layer the deck views and easily see what's above or below any area in which you are interested.
  4. You'll probably have to call Royal Caribbean to solve this issue (or book through a good travel agent).
  5. Royal does provide a pressing service for a fee. There's nothing on board that allows you to do it yourself. I use Downy Wrinkle Release and hang the garment in the bathroom for a few minutes with a hot shower running. Works well enough.
  6. I don't know that they are on the nightstand, though.

  8. Some more resources (not that your questions are stupid - don't take it that way!):
  9. This is a GREAT place to start! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/alaska-cruises
  10. Loved Mama Mia! and any of the Aquatheatre shows. Hated with a white hot fire: The Book.
  11. No, you need to put it in your carry on. If it's in your checked luggage security won't be able to tell what it is on the xrays and your luggage will be delayed and you will have to go down and claim it.
  12. It depends on the ship. Newer builds in the Oasis and Quantum class will, but other ships will not. If you fill out the form at https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs they will provide you with an extension cord and distilled water (don't bring your own cord as it will probably get confiscated).
  13. Depending on the ship there are often rail (like high top bar rail) seats in the back. The AquaTheatres all have benches.
  14. Since the restart (and pre-Covid), I've always received my refund within 5 business days. During Covid it was an entirely different matter. That being said, it does happen to some people. I don't think you'll get anywhere trying to get something for your time.
  15. You want coverage that covers you door to door. From what I've seen, it only covers the cruise portion, so you have to call and add the airfare and hotel, or whatever is involved in your vacation (and change the dates of travel if you are flying out ahead of time). For this reason I personally just arrange my own travel insurance.
  16. You can buy it on board, but you will pay a much higher price for it there.
  17. Yes, just call (Royal, if you booked directly through them, or your Travel Agent/agency, if you booked through one). You can have it adjusted as many times as it drops.
