We have twice left from FLL and rented a car (from the airport) after the cruise and spent the day roaming around in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. A quaint little area with shops/restaurants and a public beach.

I am also interested in the answers to some of these questions...myself, my DH, our 16yo DS and his best friend are going in July. I personally have NO interest in the water park or zipline, but the three of them will be doing both.

I watched @Matt a couple weeks ago LIVE on FB and could NOT for the life of me remember what it was called, he (along with several others) recommended the British Colonial and I spaced it when it came time to look for it. We're taking our 16yo DS and his best friend, also 16, and have a Nassau stop.

The time we went to Nassau we were the only ship...talk about being bombarded to BUY EVERYTHING!!! LOL

Thanks so much for this review @SpeedNoodles. I'd read a lot of other reviews including @twangster. We're sailing on Navigator in July with our 16yo DS and his best friend...I've looked at it thinking it might be good/fun for the best friend (and me) to be able to share stuff with his parents. Appreciate the review.

Correct me if I'm wrong, just keep in mind that even though you CAN download them, they are from PAST CRUISES...they might be similar, but they are NOT the official CC for upcoming cruises...

We're first time Harmony cruisers too, going in November so this will be a good thread for me to follow ? ...but we're on the Navigator in July.

Personally, when we plan our cruises, we plan by dates...then we just choose a cruise that works for those dates, we don't necessarily avoid certain ships, but at the time of planning, just what is available... You can buy/take any lanyard. I bought one in the terminal on our first cruise and then just kind of wing it each time...but you can get lanyards anywhere, they even sell them at dollar stores. I take my own now that look like jewelry rather than a cloth/strap lanyard.

I also had to turn the sound off since i'm at work LOL and my claustrophobic self thinks i could do an ocean view room if that's the view...but balcony is my friend.

Thanks @Matt for the video! Each cruise we've just done the refreshment package (since we're not HUGE alcohol drinkers) and just pay for the -maybe- 1 SPECIAL drink per day out of pocket, but it's always good to be reminded of the options.
