  1. Three nights is just right for Adventure. Gives you a chance to try them all once.
  2. My friend just did this on her Freedom of the Seas cruise over Thanksgiving and she was blown away by the experience.
  3. Keep checking back. They may not have opened up the cruise planners bookings for those restaurants yet. I will say that Sabor is usually no issue to do as a walk-in if you are flexible with your dining times.
  4. Thanks all to everyone that followed along and for all the nice comments and encouragement along the way to keep me going. Made it worthwhile to do this. I will wrap this all up once I am back in my own safe crowd-free bubble at home, I promise ?
  5. Oh I've been off the ship. That took all of 5 minutes cabin to outside..they sweep you out sooo fast and then it's a nightmare from there. Ditto! Can't believe it's less than a month already! At least knowing that is helping to keep me from eating my feelings now that I am without my Ultimate Dining Package (oh..and also the fact I now have to pay for food again).
  6. Early dining. Drop kids off at Adventure Ocean and go enjoy the early show. This week the shows were mostly early 8pm/830pm and late 10pm/1045pm. They did do a matinee for Frozen in Time which is an ice skating show and you may want to consider that one as it won't interfere with dinner and will be on a sea day. This one is the most kid friendly one of them all. They didn't do reservations for the matinee on our sailing and it wasn't crowded as there's so much other stuff to go on sea days. They should have opem rehearsals for the aquatheater show which may be a good chance for the kidlets to watch a little bit of the show without committing..you can pop in and out.
  7. Diet? What diet? I will have to say this round at Playmakers is the hottest food I've had on the ship this entire cruise.
  8. Watching my college football team lose badly is made better with using my BOGO Diamond offer.
  9. Right?! They better swag it up for the prices they want for that drink package. Swag will make it hurt much, much less.
  10. These bears were in the car on the Promenade on day one and then disappeared. They've been showing up all over the ship. Some folks we befriended on this cruise said they found them on the carousel..and the sailing's Facebook group also found them as well. Love these little touches!
  11. Just a reminder that we are kicking you off the ship tomorrow, in case you didn't get the message.
  12. I checked out the Solarium sun deck views. It's not quite as windy today up there.
  13. When at El Loco Fresh.. ...we guacamole! Now with 100% more chips than last Thanksgiving on Symphony.
  14. Teach yourself how to play the steel drums at the Lime & Coconut. Impress all your friends!
  15. Time to check out how the other half lives..and by that I mean folks who like the sun and don't have skin that sparkles in sunlight. Living his best life...
  16. Overheard in the Windjammer, "Mom, do I have to eat again?" I feel ya, kiddo.
