My hubby tried on his suits.. he has 3 that have only been worn to weddings and funerals.  The jackets are nice, but I'm concerned the pants are out of fashion and he will need a new suit.  The legs looks so wide.. what is the fashion now?  I hate another expense, his suits were not cheap, but I also do not want him to stand out in a out of fashion suit.  Thank you in advance!!

Thank you for a wonderful blog!!  I will be going on our first cruise (40th anniversary...) in March 2019.  Your pictures and descriptions were all amazing. My dogs woke me up at 2am.. your blog was very entertaining when I couldn't get back to sleep.  

i just called customer service and they put in a IT ticket for me.  It will take up to 48 hours.  Hopefully they can fix the issue.

I have only used my email... maybe I need to try username.  LOL   I have also cleared cookies, used incognito.... I'm headed there now.  Fingers crossed

I have not been able to log in all week.  I thought maybe my password was incorrect so I reset.  But I still couldnt sign in.  They even sent email letting me know my password was updated.  I'm lucky my cruise is not til next year.  It would be frustrating if you had to pay or book shows.

Thank you @TNphilp !!  It looks like they are under the balcony and they will not obstruct my view.  I did find a youtube video of a large balcony on Harmony of the seas, and they had a great shot on the balcony.  No lifeboats in view. :) You worked hard for me!!!!!!  So kind.  I loved the video

We booked our first ever cruise on Symphony of the Seas March 2019.  I have been looking at all the deck plans trying to find our cabins on the actual pictures of the ship.  We have 2 on deck 7, 1 deck 6.  Cabin 6202, 7192,7204. All are ocean view category 2C.  I think our rooms are near the center of the ship,  deck above  the life rafts.  Will we be staring at big yellow rafts when we are on our balcony?  https://www.icruise.com/cabins/royal-caribbean-cruises-symphony-of-the-seas-cabin-6202.html

We are were so lucky. She hates to call in sick to work so she didn’t go to hospital u until her appendix burst. She was septic. We almost lost her 6 times in the first 2 weeks. I’m so thankful I have her.

I will chat more with her. She had tried multiple times to quit. It has such a hold on her. Her only success was when she was very ill and was in a medically induced coma.  She didn’t start smoking for 6 months when she recovered.

The times that I have bought an excursion or package, whether via the Cruise Compass or calling Royal directly, they confirm my email address and I get an emailed confirmation the second the credit card is processed. It's beyond odd that they wouldn't do the same with a room booking, which is a far bigger purchase.

I did get an email stating my deposit went through.  Maybe thats whats wrong, I didnt pay the entire balance?

It is pretty limited though which does of course lead to the smoking areas to be quite busy usually.

Thank you!  We will scope out the cruise compass.  My sister did say she may quit before we go.  Crossing my fingers but not holding my breath.  LOL  I support her either way.  It does no good to nag.

There is no smoking in the rooms or balcony if you have one.

The number of places to smoke has been greatly reduced in the last few years.

My sister loves to gamble and smoke. I have the feeling I may lose her to the casino....  

I will be traveling with 2 other couples.  One is a smoker.  Are there smoking areas on every deck? We are on the 7th deck.  We will be on the symphony of the seas

I booked my cruise on Royal Caribbean website March 11. I can find my balance, but I cant seem to find an actual invoice?  How do I know what the charge is per cabin?  I have seen people posting about adjusting the price if it lowers, but at this moment I only have a ballpark estimate because I dont know what fees are involved.

I have never been on a cruise.. can someone explain the cruise director roll?  I can't imagine they could interact with so many guests.  OR are there multiple Cruise directors...
