Ok, most important precruise purchase done!! A 1000 page book! This time it’s Anne Rice’s Mayfield Witches series. Last cruise took 2 books and a total of 2200 pages but 2 less sea days & more family so 1000 should be enough.

AFAIK, on board charges are based on the sea pass card which is tied to a passenger not a cabin.

Yup, stay near Samoran Blvd by the airport. Just about every hotel has an airport shuttle, within walking distance of a variety of food/drink options and are serviced by either Cortrans or Cruise Control Transportation. Most hotels also have complementary breakfast. Off the plane, check in to the hotel, swim, relax have a good nights sleep & get dropped off right at the terminal.

True story - we were at Disney with our DGS. Hubby had 2 shirts, blue & grey and green & brown and 2 pair of shorts, grey & green left to wear. Wanna guess what he put together? When we travel with the grands I put full matched outfits in plastic bags. Every morning, they get up, grab a bag & get dressed. Since that trip, I do that for hubby too

Me too. He asks every week or so “when is the cruise? It’s on the CALENDAR!! The paper calendar hanging in the kitchen!! How can you miss it?? I never let him pack as he cannot match clothes to save his life. Garanimals for men! He forgets a belt every trip. OTOH, he does all the housework, including the laundry & bathroom so I’m ok with handling his packing.

You say OBC can only be used once you board. You didn’t really mean that did you? I’ve used OBC for CP purchases just about every cruise. Am I missing something?

Really, I probably take 75% of what’s on your list if I sat down & made a list.

My packing list is in my head. I only make an actual list for the items that get packed last minute & check them off as they go in the bag. I know I’m jinxing myself but so far have never forgotten anything! Again, wow! That is one specific list! See it sometimes pays to have no clothes. I just take all of my summer clothes and throw them (neatly) in the suitcase.

We have 3 cabins, 2 are JS and 1 is a balcony. So I guess we will just wait with the masses!

No problem sleeping, at least not because of the mattress.
