  1. Remember we board on Thursday not Wednesday. But I too am concerned about Sunday. We are going to FLL & grabbing a rental car so also not in a hurry. Adding to the 9 ships in port, I believe there is some major event going on in Miami that weekend.

  4. I know you drive but we will be grabbing a rental car at FLL & going to visit Katie for a few days. Free shuttle would be nice.
  5. When I use, for example, my % off a specialty coffee purchase, I always inform them that I am using a Diamond perk. Maybe I don’t have to but it makes my intention clear.
  6. I want to say there are 9 ships in port when we debark 3/30? Think it’ll be offered to us?

  9. Yes I know it shows on my seapass card when they run it. I was asking about prior to getting the card. Last time, his SetSail paper had the soda designation on it. We stopped at the bar in WJ & the bartender just looked at it and gave him a freestyle cup. It was busy & he did it while multitasking drink orders. If the pass has to be scanned, it would take more time. I know, first world problems

  11. I also am the only one of 31 grandchildren who can make my grandmother’s Polish sweet bread. Nine loaves every year for Easter. None of my cousins ever help but they all line up to get a loaf!
  12. Started it on suet (I know, I know but that’s how you start it). Fist sized onion, 5 lbs of hamburg, salt!!, chili powder, water. Simmer it forever.
  13. My grandmother’s meat sauce! My uncles owned a tavern back in the 40’s & 50’s. They served the hot dogs from a local Polish meat packing company free and Grammy made a Coney Island type meat sauce with it. It was salty which made the customers drink more beer. I loved it so much, I’d put it on a roll by itself! I still make a big batch in the summer.
  14. Ok my weird food thing. Ya know the hamburger that’s been on the grill since the party started? The one that could be mistaken for an actual charcoal briquet? Yeah that’s mine. It’s been a craving of mine since I was pregnant with my second kid so I blame him. I swear I don’t eat anything else like that (not even burgers in a restaurant) but that darn bbq hamburger better crunch when I bite in! My pizza obsession I blame on pregnancy number 1!

  18. It’s been a while but should my husband’s soda package show on his SetSail pass? Cuz it doesn’t!
  19. Just arrival time so far. I’ll finish the rest on my next day off. Noon was the earliest time? That will be cutting lunch reservations pretty close. Think we’ll show up 10:30-11 ish.
