Book it while you're on Anthem next month! ?
Now that's an idea! Getting excited for yours? only a few more weeks...might just start packing for the heck of it :) You'll have to let me know how the new pub is! We're setting sail on St. Patty's day, so we're darting right for the pub.

Awesome! This ship is most definitely in my future!

Hi Everyone! I am new to Royal Caribbean, but not new to cruising. My parents started us out on Carnival back when I was in highschool, so it was all I knew. My husband has been trying to get me on Royal Caribbean for years, so we finally decided to book a last minute cruise for March 17th aboard Anthem of the Seas! Can't wait.
We're from NJ so only about an hours drive to Cape Liberty Cruise Port. We are both a little skeptical about cruising out of NJ and losing warm sea days, but enticed by not having to fly.
Hope to see ya aboard!

Day 6 - Nassau
We arrived early with the morning mist yet to be burned off as the sun began to rise.
First into port this morning.
Can't decide which of these photos I like better so I'm including them both.
Soon after we docked another Royal Caribbean ship entered the harbor.
That's Independence of the Seas executing a turn so she could back into the slip beside us.
Nice day here today. Later in the day I was walking laps around the ship and caught Gigi looking whimsically at me with North Star looming over her shoulder.
WOW is an understatement ... and to think, I was never really interested in the bahamas! 46 more days until I'm on my way.
thanks for sharing!

thank you both! No, we haven't booked anything yet. Starting to look at options on St. Thomas as well
We were in St. Thomas last October and did a catamaran sail and snorkel that took us by catamaran to St. John's and snorkeled there. It was beautiful and crystal clear. Also had a nice private beach as well. But that was through Carnival, not sure if RC would have the same.
We are also sailing to Nassau in March, we're looking at Blue Lagoon as well, but i'm most interested in the sea lions. Not sure if it's a nice beach or what. I wish RC had reviews on there excursions.

If you are purchasing the robes then they will be yours to take with you. If they are the robes that are provided to you in your room then you must leave them.
Congratulations on your first cruise and welcome to our little family !
thank you! I just thought it seemed too good to be true to get 2 RCCL robes for $50!

True, although on a 7 night cruise, lobster in MDR is available on the second formal night.
For our cruise, a 4 night cruise, going to specialty on formal night was fine with us.
GOOD TO KNOW!! This will be my 1st RCCL cruise, so this info is great as we were just about to book dining!
Happy cruising!

Hi Everyone! This is my 1st post, and will be my 1st RCCL cruise in March, 2018. We opened a Royal Caribbean credit card to accumulate points and we have enough to redeem for onboard credit as well as some left over- it's 5,000 points for 2 RCCL robes to be delivered to our stateroom -- this would equate to about $50. Being that each robe is $75 on the website, I thought this was a steal! Question is, do we get to keep the robes? Or are they just to be used for the duration of the cruise? I wouldn't want to spend $50 worth of credit just to use for the cruise and then get charged another charge if we take them home.
Thoughts? Experiences?

Hi Matt, Looks like your math is correct, we were looking into the BOGO option as well, but the ONE downfall is that you have to use it on Days 1 AND 2. Day 2 (on our cruise, anyhow) is formal night and we don't want to waste a specialty dining night when they are serving lobster in the MDR.
This is my 1st Royal Caribbean cruise, so i'm still trying to learn the ropes.
Is shampoo and bodywash provided?

I do the same!! Different scents for each vacation I take, and when I use them at home, it brings me right back! The mind is a beautiful thing!
