My 1 and only Star class experience was not good. Seemed like every Star class guest showed up. Got only 2 or 3 attempts in the entire hour.

Don’t book the ones one the cruise planner unless you actually need/want a lesson. I was told this was something they don’t advertise, but you can rent it out for the hour when on the ship much cheaper than the lesson. The only issue is if you are still learning if you don’t have your blue band already you will still only get 2 tries to stand up in that hour and then just have to boogie board. But if you have it, then you can do whatever for the hour.

Yeah I found this ship and wonder and icon not great. Really has me looking more in booking the older oasis class so can have the double flowrider. So much more advance time and self assist stand up time. He can ask about renting it out. I think I heard it’s about $350 to rent out for the hour.

Definitely in the top 3. Aqua 80’s might still be a touch better and I thought the one on Icon was really good, but would definitely see this one over and over again.

You should definitely call and check. I currently have 3 offers sitting in my account and I’m to the point I can’t book anymore or my wife will divorce me.

The wife and I are at odds with this one. We have 5 boys, 2 of which are older and out of the house so no longer get the freeloader status. We have a third that has 1 year left. We have 2 cruises booked for him, but then in 2027 the last 2 are getting to go on Star with us and she thinks the other one should get to go. I said sorry, he will have been 18 for a year and out of high school so he’s done.

As others have said with the table games it really depends on what minimum amount you are playing. I start at the $100 minimum tables and my bet fluctuates depending on how well it’s going. I’ve felt I’ve achieved pretty good point value as I made signature this year solely on blackjack in 4 cruises one which was just a 3 day.

It worked for me on a cruise I just took a few weeks ago. I had a casino offer for a junior suite originally. I called and was able to upgrade to a 1Br GS for about $450, which since that included internet which I usually get anyways it really only cost me a couple hundred dollars. Then I called again about upgrading to a CLS and was able to do that for $0 extra. I then put in a slightly over minimum bid of $1740/person for a SLS and won the royal up. So got a SLS for about $4K total for 2 people, and then after winning the RUB added 2 more people to the room for another $2K. So $6K total for 4 people in a SLS. The deal of a lifetime

Congrats!!! I just made signature for the first time last week on my cruise on Harmony. I too am excited to see when the signature cruise is and hoping I can make it work. This has been a pretty good year for me with casino cruises. And also hoping to use my yearly signature cruise on Icon maybe next January or February

Not sure when you are looking at going, but I would try and do Wonder before it goes to 3/4 nighters. That isn’t enough time for this ship. Unless you can book a B2B

So; will I become a suite snob? I have to say this trip really was amazing. While I can’t afford to do Star Class often, I certainly will try doing it again for some special occasion cruises. While I think Francisco was a big part of why this trip was so special, and the balcony for this room was amazing, I think getting a GS or CLS and being in Sky Class will still be a pretty amazing time. I’m sure I will still be cruising in balconies for many of my cruises, but I will be trying to upgrade anytime I get the chance. And what is worse is my wife who usually says she’s happy with an interior and doesn’t need a nice room and changed her tune a little after this trip.
