  1. Agreed. Even if it was fresh, it's still pretty poor quality sushi.
  2. Never experienced things like that. Neat stuff!
  3. I find Voom to be worth every penny it costs because I love being online while on my cruise. Like Marc said, depends how much you use it.
  4. You can go to http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=signature and HTML is supported, along with the formatting provided by the editor.
  5. It seems like this excursion is offered on some visits to Labadee, but not all. If you don't see it online, ask on the ship. I have a hard time believing the area of the beach for these gets taken away and put back together every cruise.
  6. Ask your wife: does she prefer a better room or more to do onboard
  7. I am so happy to hear that!
  8. I have interest, but I need to clear it with high command
  9. I never know the answer if you get the original package for "free". I assume RC is always interested in taking your money, so I'd think you could.
  10. Honestly, I have no idea LOL I just know when I see lasagna on the menu, it's Italian night! Usually day 3 or 4
  11. In terms of leaving personal items on a lounger, I always hide them under towels, shirts, etc. I have never had an issue with that, but better safe than sorry, right?
  12. Like Raye suggested, she should definitely register.
  13. We don't eat shellfish, so lobster night does nothing for us. Regardless, Italian night is the night to dine at MDR.
  14. You can rent them online or on the ship.
  15. On most nights, you can. You might not get the time you want, but it usually works out. The exception are holidays and formal nights. Those are when some specialty restaurants fill up quickly. Also, the amount of specialty dining contributes to availability. Oasis-class ships have way more options than a Radiance class ship.
  16. Ditto to everything Billy said. The heavy things I am always saddled with are laptop, cameras, bottles of wine and other electronics.
  17. Keep in mind that the Caribbean ALWAYS has a forecast for thunderstorms, especially this time of year. Check Florida and you will find the same thing. The tropics always have a threat of storms. Thing is, they are fast moving storms that disappear just as quickly as they appear. It is quite rare for an all-day soaker kind of storm. I know it looks like a bad forecast, but I wouldn't worry about it.
  18. Izumi has an a la carte charge to eat there (what you order is what you pay for). Sabor has a cover charge, with all food included on non-Oasis class ships. On Oasis class ships, it is a la carte. On ships without Izumi (like Freedom class ships), the Windjammer offers a Jade section, where sushi is complimentary in the evening.
  19. Theoretically, Voom on Liberty of the Seas should be the same as Voom on other ships. In the first few weeks Voom appeared, it looked like they still had some issues here and there, but it should be indistinguishable. Last we heard is "June" for Tidal Wave. When in June? Good question.
  20. In general, it is always easier to take someone off a reservation or replace someone than it is trying to add someone. If you aren't sure who exactly will sail with you when making a reservation, just put down any name as a placeholder. Financially, it will be to your advantage to change the name later on than trying to add them on.
  21. I don't pay that close attention to the photo packages, but I always thought lowest price for them was pre-booking. Not saying I'm 100% certain on that
  22. We roll the opposite way. Love first formal night, skip second
