MDR Questions

There's no need to schedule a dining time for the MDR if you're not going to find there for dinner. If you don't have My Time Dining, it would be good to let the dining room know in advance so that they don't hold a table for you.

We don't plan eating in the MDR.  My MIL being elderly and less mobile will probably order food in as she eats quite early.  My wife, son, and I plan to tour the specialty restaurants.  Do we still have to schedule a seating time for the MDR?

IIRC, you're sailing Star Class, I would not make a reservation for any dining ahead of time.  I have read before that even if you wanted to try the MDR they will seat you no problem.
