mspicer1234 Posted November 21, 2024 Report Posted November 21, 2024 I will be visiting Roatan, Honduras and Cozumel, Mexico on the Wonder of The Seas in late march next year. Currently the certified scuba dives are sold out for both ports. If you had booked a dive with a dive charter outside of Royal Caribbean excursions that worked with the ship’s arrival and departure times for either Roatan or Cozumel I would appreciate it if you would please share their name and if you would recommend them. melmar02 Posted November 25, 2024 Report Posted November 25, 2024 We used Dive Paradise in Cozumel years ago. We would use then again. Quote
rjac Posted November 25, 2024 Report Posted November 25, 2024 Been a couple of years and I, too, tried to book a dive with Royal late and it was filed up. I did a google search and found a dive operator (don't remember the name, sorry) but they were very good and made sure I was back well before the back on board the ship time. Pretty good dive too! I,m back. Researched my dive logs and found that dive operator for you. It was more than a few years ago, how about March 2012! Anyway, they are Aldora Divers. Two dives, both with 36% nitrox, 120 cf tanks. First dive ave depth was 50' and the second was 39'. Good vis and some current. Took a 2 hr off gas break between dives and went ashore for a great Mexican lunch (not included in the dive price, but very reasonable), killer fajitas! Distance between the ship at port and the dive shop was walkable. Shallow dives, but you don't need the briny depths to be blow away with what you will see! Good luck, hope they are still in business! rjac WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote

Golf guy Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 For Roatan you can go to the Anthony Key Resort website (AKR does the RCCL excursion) and go to the AKR Dive shop. It says you can call them and see if they have space for non resort guests. May be cheaper than the RCCL Rate Quote
