Hello Fellow Cruisers!!! My name is KJ and I am so excited to head out on this awesome adventure as a first time cruiser. I know there's still so much time to plan and prepare but I just wanted to introduce myself and looking forward to meeting some cool people along the way. Any recommendations for entertainment, food, and etc. in NY since I'm heading in a few days early to see some amazing sights? Thanks for any insight.

Are you staying in NYC or NJ?  A lot more to do in NYC compared to the NJ side.   If you are staying in NJ you can look for ferry’s to get you into the city.

Did you really book your cruise in October 2023? Wow.

Hopefully you will love your cruise. It seems people either are or are not cruisers. We are. This will be our 9th.

Some favorite NYC activities include:
Broadway shows (expensive), walking the High Line (free), Little Island (free), Edge observation deck, Central Park (free), Museum of Modern Art, American Museum of Natural History, 9-11 Memorial, DUMBO, and the list could go on.

Cruise vacations are extremely active, so don't wear yourself out in NYC beforehand. Save your energy for the cruise. See you there, KJ!
