At the moment my wife doesn't have an account with Royal. I'm guessing in order to use the app to chat she will need to 1) create her own account 2) download the app and sign in 3) connect our cruise to her account with our reservation number Am I missing anything? Pooch Posted May 31, 2023 Report Share Posted May 31, 2023 You don’t need to be connected by a reservation. My son was able to “chat” with girls he met on board. Also, be aware the chat feature is hit or miss. We found it sometimes took a couple hours for messages to show up. Sometimes they never came through at all. Despite having notifications enabled, never got notified when a message came through. It would be generous to say it was actually useful maybe 50% of the time.
