Etcunningham
I have a reservation for a cruise next week, with a 10:30 boarding time. I’m linked to a party that has a 12:30 boarding time. We both have the 3 night dining package, but purchased separately, so the dining package isn’t necessarily linked even though our reservations are. Will I be able to make reservations for myself and the other party once I board the ship at 10:30, or will I need to wait till they get on the ship for us to book together? Ampurp85
I think they have to aboard the ship for reservations.
twangster
In my experience you can. Have names and cabin number available. I don't know that they have to do it as some would argue it's a privacy concern, but I have been able to, or have someone make my reservations to join them when I'm running late. ScooterScott22
We traveled with some friends last year and everyone had the dining package. The reservations were linked but they did board after us. We made reservations for four and no one questioned how many were right there or were in our cabin. Maybe they just wanted to “keep the line moving” so they only focused on what time and number that would be at the table.
