Thaitanium
Hi - My son got listed as primary guest in the cruise reservation and I got listed a secondary guest. Will this cause any problem? Thank you for your help.
arebee
Shouldn't be an issue...
Matt
I'd probably ask for that to be switched. It should not matter at all, but just makes me feel better to have it the other way around.
jticarruthers
Only "issue" I have run across is that if you were given a Future Cruise Credit for some reason ... they issue it specifically by name and as a % of fare paid for that passenger. So lets say they issued you a 25% FCC for some reason ... They would actually issue 2 "certificates" ...1 for your son for 25% of the Guest 1 fare paid and 1 for you for 25% of the Guest 2 fare paid. With the way they play theri fare games the Guest 1 fare paid is probably massively higher than the Guest 2 fare paid (Current promo for example is 60% off Guest 2). Still not a problem as long as you would both cruise together on the future cruise that you want to use the FCC on .... but if you wanted to go without him you would only get to use your small FCC not his large FCC since the FCC can only be used by the name person .... And yes this has happened, family we cruise with also received FCC from AOTS last year ... they thought about joining us on the short Majesty cruise we just took to "use up" the FCC but the wife wasn't planning to come ... instead of $1000 FCC they were only getting about $300 since wife was guest 1, husband was guest 2 at 50% off and kid was guest 3 at 50% off. Not sure how clear that was :)
