Best way to book casino comp cruise along with paid cabin

We are planning a family cruise in November and will need 2 cabins for the 5 of us.  My husband is Prime and we plan to use his free cruise cert on this cruise.  We will need to pay for the other cabin. Can I book both cabins through Club Royale?  If so, is there any advantage/disadvantage to doing it this way?

There is a discount for "Friends and Family" if you book through Club Royale.  I did something similar and they received about a $200 discount each from their fare.

The downside of booking through Club Royale though is that they usually require you to pay in full immediately, meaning you cannot pay over time.

I am not sure how the casino prices compare to what you would get through Costco as I have never used Costco for travel.

Thank you. Would there be  any difference in the cancellation policy between the Club Royale booking vs a standard booking?

No difference if you paid for a cabin.

comp cruises I’m sure you know but share for others reading, refund port fees and taxes if you cancel.  The upgrades-I believe fall into the Royal cancellation policy-I’m not 100% on that.  Perhaps someone else can weigh in, or call Club Royale a few different times and hope you get consistent/correct answers

This is the way I understand it as well.  Thankfully, I have never had to cancel a casino booking but if there has been an upgrade applied (100% of the time, for us), then it subject to the same cancellation penalties as any other cruise.

I’ve never had to cancel either, but I did ask the question to the casino rep in the call center and was told that any upgrades or bookings through them follow the standard cancellation policy.
