deep1
Has anybody done it that way? GF hates the idea of the "blue bus". We need taxi for one tour anyway. Its about half way to visitor center. Rather than return to ship and go to next tour thinking just taxi there and meet up. Then taxi back to town where we want to grab a crab and some chocolate...
Matt
Yes, we did this on our first visit in 2018. Our taxi driver even stopped at McDonalds so my kids had something to eat I don't recall how much it costs, but it was an option. Have you looked into renting a Jeep? We did it through Royal and it was a great alternative! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/06/09/serenade-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-4-juneau deep1, Ryan79 and Baker 2
JEH106
Hi, deep1, I have never cruised to Juneau but used to visit the city on business three times a year for twenty years for business. I visited Mendenhall every trip. Take the taxi. It is about 14-15 miles and twenty - twenty-five minutes each way. Rental cars can be expensive in Alaska.
