removing a guest and adding another; what happens to the excursion #excursion #cancel

We want to book our Royal Caribbean excursions. We had to cancel so we are rearranging rooms. One person's room is being cancelled and added to another room. But can we book her  excursion or will it disappear?

Excursions will stay with the reservation, so if you're cancelling an entire reservation (cabin) don't book the excursion until you have everyone set up in the proper rooms.

We originally had one ocean view room then upgraded to adjoining balcony rooms so they had to switch up the arrangement of who was on what reservation and it totally messed up the excursions. The systeme cancelled and refunded all excursions in my 15 year old's name. After calling multiple times to rebook it never did show up right in the cruise planner. Someone had to email me proof that she was back on the excursions and I printed that and had it with me just in case. There didn't end up being any issues on board.

We had one room for four people, then added another room. The two of us in the original room still had our excursions. The two people who moved to the second room had their excursions cancelled and refunded.  I couldn't rebook them, either, because they were sold out.
