Sure you might be able to have done sooner with hindsight, but you are banking on quite a few factors outside of your control to go absolutely perfect. The train station is an easy walk from the port if you’re able. If you are flying out from Amsterdam it is easier to book the RCCL shuttle to the airport. Our flight was at 1255p and we were in business class, so priority line to immigration and screening. We barely made it. Hopefully Schipol will be better staffed by next summer...
