The Key and RoyalUp question

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I get zero results when I search on key.

I have purchased the key for my upcoming cruise.  I'm thinking on bidding on a grand suite.  From what I have read, I may not find out until the day of the cruise it that bid has been accepted.  My question is: Can I cancel the key at that point?

Ymmv.........but I don't think so. You need to cancel that before you board and cruise planner closes 48hrs before your sailing commences. Someone else may know better.

I don't know on canceling the Royal Up bid, but the reason you don't get any results searching for Key is because it's too few characters for the search function here.

What type of room are you booked in now?  If you are already in a suite then the Key is pretty much redundant anyway.

I haven’t made a bid yet. Still considering it.

Right now we are booked in an ocean view balcony.
