littlewhite
We are first timer on Freedom of Seas and will be in Nassau on 11/27. First, I was thinking of Atlantis, but the 5 year old may not able to enjoy the water park. We only want to see the aquarium. Do they sell tickets separately? What else can we do there? billnye97
We are in the same boat (literally and figuratively) on trying to decide what to do with our 9 year old daughter. The cost of the Atlantis is really prohibitive especially since we would be at Cocoa Cay for a fraction of the cost. Other than that there doesn't seem to be much else to do. We were thinking of staying on the ship. We are going in December so would like to know as well what other people suggest.
DJsMrs
Take the kids for a wander over to Junkanoo beach (or take a taxi). We always brought a few sand toys and could easily spend the day at the beach with them at that age. Nice to get off the ship for a few hours. The beach is literally 10-15 minute walk, and you could have a wander through the straw market to kill a bit of extra time. Cheap and cheerful! billnye97
As a follow up we ended up booking the Baha Bay waterpark for a fraction of the cost of the Atlantis. It looks nice and my daughter is excited for the lazy river and all of the water slides. KristiZ
