barjpoe
On ships that have Hibachi/Teppanyaki they state there's a $10. up charge. OK, but on the Odyssey Chops price is $64.99, Wonderland is $59.99, and the Teppanyaki charge is $59.99. So my questions is why is there an up charge for the Teppanyaki where it is less then Chops and then the same price as Wonderland?
WAAAYTOOO
The &10 upcharge for teppanyaki/hibachi is if you are using it in conjunction with the UDP. If you purchase the hibachi meal outright, there is no additional $$.
Rackham
Complete speculation, but probably two reasons. The first is because people are willing to pay it on the dinning plan. The second is for crowd control reasons. Teppanyaki is super popular and without a disincentive dinning plan participants would potentially book multiple slots during a single sailing keeping someone else, who's paying full price, out.
