derbscruises
I am currently Gold with 27 points. We're going on a cruise in December which will get us to the Platinum. My question is we're looking to book our Summer 2023 cruise. If I book now as Gold, can I call after our points come in and have them rebook us under our Platinum status? Riley
Hi there- status is automatically updated (usually it takes about 7 to 10 days post-cruise for update online) so you don't have to do anything. The only time it would be helpful top rebook is when you're a high enough tier that you would get a discount on, say a balcony or a solo traveler. Pattycruise
What Riley said! also be careful of terminology. A rebook would mean cancelling/repurchase which would likely mean a higher price as well as a cancellation fee and a loss of OBC. a price adjustment would maintain the same reservation#, no cancellation fee and theres a possibility of loss of OBC but the loss of OBC might be worth it if the price adjustment is high enough. You can also go cabin changes on a reservation at no cost.
