Yes, but it’s a loophole. Meaning, it’s not something Royal advertises or offers as a feature, so it could disappear tomorrow. It might work for an hour or two riding on the coattails of something you did in the app, then it might now work for several hours. Later that day you might get an iMessage sent to you 4 hours earlier or it may take days to get that iMessage, or the sender's phone may see an iMessage failure and send it as a text message that you'll get the next time you activate cellular.
