We booked in advance for a private tour with Rony's Tours. https://ronystours.com/ We were picked up just outside the gate by Rony in an air conditioned van. The cost was $90 for 3 people. This is basically for a driver who knows the island and can customize your day. You pick what you want to do and he will let you know the cost. We had told him when we booked that we wanted to do zip lines and go to the beach for snorkeling. We decided this morning after having spent the past 2 days in Cozumel and Costa Maya at the beach to see about switching it from the beach to one of the monkey/sloth places. We told Rony when we got to the van and it was no problem to make the change. We also asked to have lunch at a place that served local catch seafood. He brought us to Pirates Cove extreme zip line which was a lot of fun. We went to Daniel Johnson's for the sloths and monkeys and then to Gio's for lunch which was amazing. I included a picture. Rony is great and the price for a private driver is well worth it in Roatan. There are many choices of things to do on his website and you can book a small group tour if you want to save a little.
