bryresangel
Our next cruise is going to Haiti, St. Martin, and Antigua. I have ready about how best to pay with U.S. dollars, but when shopping, are the prices in U.S. or local currency if you are in the tourist areas and/or on excursions? Are there any places I should worry that U.S. currency will NOT be accepted?
WAYNO
My experience... The vendors do not want local currency. They want US dollars. Their currency fluctuates in value so much, even they don't know what their money is worth. Prices are always quoted to me in US dollars. bryresangel
twangster
The only Caribbean island that comes to mind that refuses USD would be Martinique. Bring Euros if going there. For your islands USD will be accepted. bryresangel and ChessE4
