I am booked to go on the Independence of the Seas in December and it’s a 5 day cruise that was supposed to have a stop in Nassau and another stop in Coco Cay but they removed the Nassau stop and we didn’t purchase a 5 day cruise for just 1 stop. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if Royal Caribbean offered anything for the inconvenience.

I believe when we book cruises we agree to accept itinerary changes should they occur.  However, Royal still offers the Cruise With Confidence so you can cancel and rebook to a better suited cruise option for yourself if you feel the need.  I myself would welcome the extra sea day! 😌

You’re really not missing anything by Nassau being cancelled.  We got off the ship there once and never again.
