FCO Airport Testing when sailing out of Civitavecchia

Recommended Posts

Topic of test 72H set-back times has been beat to death.  BUT, if arriving in Rome (or other large European airport) an extra-day early, that puts a US test  just outside the 72H embarkation window.  Has anyone used, or plan to use FCO airport testing (Testing in Terminal 3)that can be used for the 72H pre-embarkation requirement?   Question can apply to anyone arriving a little early to a European airport and port location.

I didn't think we needed to get a covid test on our own prior to sailing since they are providing testing at the terminal the day of embarkation.  I thought the pre cruise testing prior to embarkation only applied to cruises out of the U.S.  Am I wrong on that?  I have a sailing on Harmony Oct 14th out of Rome and will be arriving two days early!
