ian91
The prices in Europe have gone crazy. Looks like the only way to get any deals is to book as far in advance as possible. We have already moved to other lines for this years med cruise. Is the same happening in the USA? Don
Don
The prices in Europe have gone crazy. Looks like the only way to get any deals is to book as far in advance as possible. We have already moved to other lines for this years med cruise. Is the same happening in the USA? Agree, $175/$200 per person per night for inside cabin is exorbitant to say least. Same is true for Sister line Celebrity. 2014 Celebrity British Isle on Infinity are only $100nt, & we paid $$85 nt for our Italian Med cruise on Serenade this May. Have'nt looked in detail at USA fares, but have seen lots of $45--$50 discount deals.
Matt
Two things come to mind. First, Royal Caribbean and a lot of other cruise lines have cut European sailings compared to what they were last year and even more so 2-3 years ago. Thus, less supply. Second, as I recall last minute sales for European cruises tend to pop up as we get closer to sailings because of empty staterooms. Often these are among the best deals out there, but of course you have to be able to get there and last minute flights to Europe (especially from USA) are far from cheap.
