Sailing with my brother and step-father, and we enjoy a good cigar with our libations. Wondering in which bar smoking is allowed? Is it only in the casino, or is there a dedicated area or (hopefully) a bar that allows smoking? We will be on Rhapsody, but its valuable information across the fleet, for other cigar lovers.

I was on Freedom a few years ago, and they had a connoisseur club for smoking.  I believe it is being removed now during Freedom's dry dock.  These are becoming a thing of the past.  On other ships that I have been on that did not have connoisseur clubs, the only smoking areas were the casino and certain outdoor areas.  Other than the casino, in the evenings by the pool bar is where the majority of smokers seemed to gather.  A couple of us enjoyed cigars and drinks there a couple of times during the week, as did a lot of other people.

Unless it's Empress, smoking is allowed in the casino (and therefore, the casino bar) but they do not permit cigar smoking anywhere inside on any ship UNLESS you can find one of the ships that still has a Connoisseur Club.  I think there is a ship or 2 that still has them.  I believe you can still smoke a cigar in the Connoisseur Club but most of them have been removed.
