KaydenDeen
If my ship is scheduled to arrive in Grand Cayman at 7am, does that mean the tenders will start running shortly thereafter? Thanks in advance!
MikeSD
Not sure, but I looked at some of the Cruise Compass from ships that port at Grand Cayman. Its seems that tendering starts at 7:30am or shortly after. There are some special consideration should you depart after 8am (need to get a ticket). I suggest looking at the Cruise Compass section on this board to find your ship and a recent cruise compass for a better idea. Below is one example from Adventure of the Seas: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compasses/adventure-of-the-seas/sun-2019-01-27-0000 KaydenDeen and ChessE4 1
twangster
It depends. They might or they might start earlier or later. Like all ports the ships have to be cleared by local authorities and in Grand Cayman most of the time the tenders are operated by a 3rd party. Depending where you anchor the ride can be a few minutes longer and if the sea are more spirited it can take longer to load and unload each boat. Royal excursions will have priority and may consume the first tender or two. There will be hundreds of people all eager to get to shore so there may be long lines.
