MoochaTwo
We will be in Falmouth in mid March and looking for a beach to take all 19 of us (ages 20 mo to 68 yoa) that does not require a long ride and wont break the bank. Any suggestions on beaches or excursion operators on the island?
rjac
Well, there is A Margaritaville In Falmouth that is a very easy walk from the ship. And, it is within the fence so you do not have to put up with the VERY pushy Jamaicans outside of the fence. And, there are a lot of shops to poke around in. melski94
Falmouth is a tough port as almost everything is a drive. I've never made Falmouth a beach day as there are better beaches in other ports. Here is Matt's review of Blue Water Beach and Hilton Rose Hall http://royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/03/15/excursion-focus-blue-waters-beach-escape-falmouth https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2011/09/15/excursion-focus-hilton-rose-hall-resort-spa-day-pass
DRLPP
I vote Margaritaville and just go al a carte. With in gated area, rather easy to walk to and if someone wants to stay longer or shorter its easy to return to ship. Lots of shopping as well.
