MrMarc
I am on Oasis of the Seas 1/27/19. Has anyone planned an excursion to Virgin Gorda from St. Thomas? Is there enough time to try this, or would it be too risky to go that far from the port?
rjac
Risky, not in St. Thomas long enough. Distance is one thing but you will be going from a US Virgin Island to a British Virgin Island so you will have to play the customs and immigration game going and coming. Not a good idea, in my opinion. However, an excursion to St, John (a US Virgin Island) may be something to consider. What are your interests? MrMarc
That's what I thought. It was just wishful thinking. I wanted to go for a strange and specific reason. In 1975 I was in a shipwreck(The Flying Cloud, 108') on the reef outside Spanish Town. The owner of a bar called The Big Bamboo let us use the bar as a "refugee camp" for a few days. The building has re-opened as Chez Bamboo. I wanted to go back and have lunch there. WAAAYTOOO
