Chrispy560
Hi All. We're going on our first cruise this Sunday on the Adventure of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale. Our scheduled check in time is 2:30pm - 3:00pm. I have heard that you can check in early and I also heard do not check in early or else you will be sitting there waiting for your check in time. Are we allowed to check in early? And how early can we check in if we can!? Thanks in advance for the help.
cmdrfrag
Absolutely can. The check in times are just advisory time but you can show up as soon as check in opens and they will get you put though. You can head in to get checked in as soon as they open so about 10:30am - 11am Means you can get on board earlier and start that hard process of relaxing :)

Ask away with any and all questions, there are many seasoned Royal cruisers here who will be glad to help you out. As mentioned above, yes, you can check in early. But, your room will not be ready to occupy until after 1:00 pm. So, you will have to lug around anything you carry on board. Enjoy your cruise!! MikeK
Have your proper IDs, set sail paperwork and a credit card ready for check in. You will need your IDs and set sail paperwork ready for the security check and your IDs, set sail paperwork and credit card for final check in. Everyone in your party will then get a set sail pass( card) used for room key, getting off and on the ship, and to buy things on the ship. Casino is about the only thing you will be using cash for. Relax and take your time looking around the first day. Remember ...your on vacation! Also forgot to mention there will be numerous RC employees around all the check in stages. If you get confused just ask them for help. That is what they are there for
