  1. This is the cruise my wife and I booked for ... 2020, then 2021, and now (knock on wood) 2022. Who's with us??
  2. Looking forward to this one, 9 night Southern Caribbean out of Miami. Schedule as follows: At Sea Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Castries, St Lucia Bridgetown, Barbados St. Johns, Antigua At Sea At Sea
  3. I wonder what happens if you miss the Skagway all-aboard? We will be on Radiance next summer, and there is a morning stop in Skagway and then an evening stop in Haines, just down the way from Skagway. We will be fishing the Chilkoot inlet when we visit Skagway during the day with a third party. I wonder, could we "purposely" miss the Skagway all-aboard and re-board in Haines? Would RCG approve that? Would do this with advance notification to RCG and not "on-the-fly." Paging @twangster.
  4. I could have sworn that Rita's Crab Shack was on the Radiance of the Seas (Alaska Itinerary) , but have looked at the latest Southbound Cruise Compass and I don't see it there. Does anyone out there in RCCBlog world have any info?

  6. On completing the online check-in for the Radiance of the Seas transpacific departing Honolulu on 17 September 2018, I noticed that our documentation shows check-in as being between 4.30pm and 8.30pm, I guess due to the 10.00pm sailing. This seems to be the standard check-in time for everyone joining the ship in Honolulu even though RoS arrives at 6.00am. As most most hotels require check-out by noon, does anyone know if the terminal will at least be open before 4.30pm so that we can at least do bag drop. It will also be interesting to see how MDR will operate in-conjunction with this late boarding. I'm just glad that I didn't select the "first night done right' package.
  7. It is finally getting real now that my E-Docs are ready! We leave for Vancouver in 44 days. I was glad to see that the E-Docs had more details regarding our Post CruiseTour. I haven't had much luck getting very many details for that segment. It even had how long the motor coach ride were and the excursions that are included.
  8. What is your favorite Sail away spot? Normally, we like our Balcony; however, this time we are cruising with 3 other couples (2 couples are cruise newbies). I thought we might want to be in a spot all together (since I have discovered that Radiance balcony dividers do not open up?).
  9. I have booked our Flight into Vancouver for the day before using Delta Skymiles so I only have to paid a total of $11.60 for the both of us to fly. So I am really happy about that. I decided to book Go Shuttle from the airport to our hotel with a private vehicle. We decided on the Marriott Pinnacle Downtown. We got a good rate with our points and it is a 7 minute walk to the cruise port. Not sure if we will walk it or take a taxi but I like having that option to choose from. Now I need to look and see what we can do/see in Vancouver as we land at 10:30 am. I haven't booked our return flight yet as it is out of Anchorage and I am trying to decide what will work best for us time wise.
  10. Any other Royal Caribbean Blog followers on this cruise to Alaska in May?
