On the departure day, can you check-in to the boat, drop your bags off, then head back out? We wanted to bring our bags earlier but still have time to explore. Is it better to check-in earlier then late? We are traveling out of Barcelona in July.

I know that different ships/itineraries have different earliest boarding times (apparently in part impacted by when the prior cruise completes). I'm cruising out of Miami on Freedom on the 29th and have been trying to determine what time is the earliest boarding time. The on-line system gave me 1PM, but I suspect there is earlier that might not have been available. I'm Platinum and staying in a Junior Suite (so no real check-in perks). FWIW, I tried calling C&A support but they claim said they have no visibility into ship boarding times. I believe our ship arrives in Miami the day before our cruise so not sure why it would have just afternoon boarding. Has anyone gotten on Freedom in the last year in the AM?

Hello, I'm trying to check-in to my Rhapsody of the Seas cruise from Panama. The website shows check-in opens Oct 18, but the app says Dec 2. Tried checking-in using the website but it says "Check-in unavailable". Will I have to wait until Dec 2? Thats the embarkation day. Thanks.

Hi All, First time cruiser.. Didn't see this in the prior threads, but we have an early boarding/check-in at 11am on Mariner for May 23rd out of Pt. Canaveral. (Stayed up late one night to get it and have a confirmation email!) However, when I went into the app under "Check-in" and clicked on "arrival time" for wellness check, the only times are for past 1:30pm. So, now I am confused as to which time is our actual boarding time. Surely, they would be checking our vaccine info before we are allowed on board. So, that makes me think that we now can't get on the ship until after 1:30. I figured the 11am check-in would cover wellness check. Does anyone know what the two times are for? Thanks in advance!

I recently watched a YouTube video by Island Time on how to get in the first boarding group on Carnival. The magical unicorn group 1A. SPOILER: Stay up till midnight and check in as soon as the clock rolls over. Does this work with Royal Caribbean? Is there a parallel trick? What council can you give me for best results.

Hi, my fam has 2 cabins (2 adults, 2 teens), which have separate reservation numbers. How do I help get the 4 of us the same embarkation time? Don’t really want the kids managing themselves, lol.

Hi first time RCCL guest here and first time cruiser. One week out from cruise date on Symphony of the Seas, and I just received an email notifying me of a delay for my previously scheduled check-in time of 12:30. The email stated that due to US Coast guard mandatory inspection, prior to the start of boarding, our check in time is pushed back to 1pm. Not a major issue, however I was planning on heading to the terminal early, to take advantage of avoiding the peak rush. Has any other travelers encounter this before? Is this normal procedure? Should I plan on not heading to the terminal as early, since I most likely won’t be able to board? Please advise. Thank you.

My adult daughter and a friend have decided to join us on an upcoming cruise from Sydney on Voyager of the Seas, but they will be arriving at the Port at different times due to being on different flights. As they are sharing a cabin, will they need to arrive at the Port and check-in together or can they check-in separately. Thanks

Woke up this morning to do the check in for my Allure of the Seas cruise that departs in 90 days only to see the dreaded message of" We are unable to update your information at this time. Please try again later. I really wanted to make sure I get tickets to the play "Mama Mia" as well as do my regular check in. On Liberty of the Seas you just had to show up but for this ship you need to reserve tickets. Does anyone know how you go about doing that through the Royal website? I hope it's back up and working at some point today......
