Our cruise is on June 5th going to the Western Caribbean on Liberty of the Seas out of Galveston. Does anyone know if they will be adding more excurisions to the website? Most excursions are already sold out in Belize right now. I know we can do a 3rd party excursion but with that being a tender port I would much rather get something via RC. I have read that it's VERY hard to get a tender ticket off the ship when you use an outside company.

Greetings! It does not seem like RCC is offering many excursions on our cruise in December. I am looking for the BEST non-Royal excursions for Costa Maya and Cozumel. We were hoping to book something to see ruins, so bonus for anyone that has a recommended ruins excursion at either of those locations. Also, what is recommended for Belize City? I saw they have ruins tours, but I think there may be better excursions for Belize. Thanks for the help!

Ive been looking at all of the things to do in Belize. Ive been there before, and did Altun Ha ruins. Enjoyed that, but dont believe my 8 and 4 year old would, and people im traveling with have done mayan ruins before and arent interested in that, either. Ive looked at the Zoo tour, and Kukumba Beach day. That looks promising, but I can go to a zoo here, and have two other all inclusive beach resort days booked.....so afraid it might be overkill. HEEEEEELP. Has anyone done anything in Belize that was of note, that can be done with my parents and my 4 year old son?

We are looking for things that we can do within walking distance from the ship for our upcoming cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas. We're visiting Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya, and Roatan. In Cozumel, can you walk (safely) from the ship to the "downtown" area? Are there any beaches within walking distance at any of our ports? I know there's the pool area in Costa Maya, but I think we'd just stay on the ship to have pool time. We've been to these ports once before, but this time decided to go for the 7 night cruise and not do any excursions vs. the 4 night with excursions. Our daughters are older (11, 13, and 15), so if anyone has any good no or very low cost ideas, we'd appreciate it! We'd be okay staying on the ship and enjoying the pool and food. Any other thoughts or ideas?

We have booked a cruise to cozumel, grand caymen, belize, costa maya, tampa in march 2018. We are trying to figure out the best ports and excursions for seeing ruins. any suggestions would be great! We have been to cozumel and caymen in the past and will likely do more of a beach day in those ports, but any recommendations would be great! Also if anyone has done a private journey's excursion in this area, we would consider that as well

My wife and I are going on a cruise in April on Liberty to Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel and we are looking for one or two affordable beach days at any port. If other things are included too, that's great, but we are really just looking to relax on a quality beach and enjoy some good food and cocktails. The excursion we have our eye on right now is the Parrot Tree Beach Resort in Roatan. It is currently priced at $44 and does not include food or drinks although they are offered at an extra charge (It doesn't say how much). Does anyone have any other suggestions for any of these ports? I'm open to anything, even if it is more expensive, as long as the value is there. After all, how often are we on a tropical island?

My husband & I are hoping to go snorkeling in Belize on our cruise in a few weeks but I can't decide which snorkeling option is the best & the website/reviews very vague & not any help. I've called but no one can tell me anything more either & I'm not getting a response from my e-mail they suggested I sent to the Shore Excursions department. Have any of you been on the "Barrier reef snorkel & island getaway" or the "Barrier reef snorkeling wonders" excursions? They sound pretty similar other than one has a "complementary" drink. Are they both to the same place, & if not, which would offer a better experience? Since this is literally a once in a lifetime trip, I'd like to go to the best place, but it seems like these are the only options through RCCL & from what I've read, it's best to go with their excursions from Belize because of the tendering schedule. Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thank you! :-)

We leave on the Liberty of the Seas on 2/28 from Galveston, TX. We had planned on some excursions into the jungles and the Mayan Ruins but with the Zika Virus being prevalent there...we have cancelled the plans for these excursions. I wonder if RCCL is advising cruisers of this danger and if they are doing anything to protect the passengers? I think the cruise and ship itself are safe but excursions may not be.

Family of 4 (2 kids age 7 and 9) will be stopping at this port next spring. Any suggestions on activities that would keep all of us interested? Looking at RC and non-RC excursions; my preference is to book through the ship but seeing the inflated prices I can easily be persuaded to book elsewhere. Not too interested in snorkeling though - been there done that.
