  1. So now that I read Sabor is no longer a la carte....does that mean I can't order a chips and guac to go?? Was looking forward to enjoying on my balcony during sail away on Allure in May
  2. Just FYI....you can get to the regular beach for free on Nassau by just doing some walking. Hubs and I even walked all the way down to the "locals" beach which was much less crowded. Otherwise for a more inclusive beach experience, the ones recommended above look nice
  3. I've seen some people do door decorations, but that's it--was thinking of putting up a little dry erase board this time to leave messages to my family since we will have 3 cabins in different locations this time
  4. my husband gets motion sickness in airplanes and can't do any simulation theme park rides--he had zero motion sickness on OTS. However, if we were on the top decks, he could not look down at the water while we were moving (going on ATS in May with an ocean balcony should be fun lol) with that said, I could only feel the boat moving when I sat on the toilet :P -i didn't even feel us leave port
  5. Do you all bring your passport with you while in port or leave them safely on the ship?
  6. Can I bring my own protein powder to the Vitality Cafe and have them make me a shake?? Would I pay just like I used their protein?
  7. nooooo!!! i just went back into my cruise planner to book this and its gone!!! :( I'm sooooo sad!!
  8. Has anyone ever had a problem booking with an outside company vs direct with RC? I'm looking at Xplor in Cozumel and it's so much cheaper to book direct with them and pay extra for transportation than it is to book direct with RC
  9. Thanks! We did Izumi on Oasis last year and we found it to be just ok-very salty food. So this year on Allure we decided to try Samba and now Gios since the sale. We're looking forward to it!
  10. im on the Allure in May and totally booking this deal! I did the math breakdown on a different thread, but since no free drink perks for us, it breaks down to 3 mixed drinks/day to break even! Plus I need the Internet anyway for a cranky teenager and husband lol
  11. We did both last year! It takes a good hour to get over to where the falls are so your guide talks about the history of Jamaica while you're on the bus. Once at the falls, it's very busy, but everyone treks up the falls together in groups. You are required to wear water shoes so I suggest bringing your own, otherwise they have there but are much more expensive. Highly recommend the rum punch and patties inside the park at the falls-they were much better than the ones inside the port shops. If you don't bring cash with you, they will take a tab and wait for you to go back to the bus to get money. The caves were just ok. It was interesting and there were a lot of bats! But this year when we go back we are just doing the falls again
  12. ok, for 7 days total is $392.39 with gratuity at $49.39--which at 18% would make the drink portion worth $274.39 (+$49.39 tip) and the internet portion only $68.61 = $39/day for drinks and $9.80/day for surf + stream. Since surf + stream alone is $11.99/day with the current 30% off promo-that's definitely worth it since i need to order another for DH and at $274.39/$13 drink max = 3 drinks a day!
  13. just checked and its available for my Allure cruise in may! I'm pretty sure if I'm doing the math correctly that it breaks down to 3+ drinks a day which is definitely worth it since i have to get another surf + stream for hubby anyway (he moaned and groaned that I only got one when they had the 50% off sale) ....definitely considering this!!
  14. Can someone please explain how the food there works? Do we each pick 1 appetizer, 1 main, 1 dessert? What about appetizer and soup or salad? You can't order all you want like in the MDR right? Thanks!
  15. I think we are going to do Xplor park! I had 2 co workers recently recommend it and showed me pictures and it looks awesome!
  16. Just checked my cruise planner hoping from some President's Day weekend deals and I saw that Giovanni's Table is 30% off! I've heard some meh reviews on the restaurant, but for $21pp it looks like the hubs and I are having a date night!
