Anyone going on Oasis, I have both a tip and a request for you... Last week I was on an incredible cruise, on which I was exposed to an awesomely tasty (and somewhat myserious) drink, known as..."The Lindell Special" It was one of those "don't ask what's in it, just drink it" - it's HEAVENLY. It looks similar to a Rum Runner, but it isn't. You can get one by finding a server on the pool deck named Lindell Christie (from Jamaica) - he seems to be the only one who can make this drink, and you need to find him and order one, and experience it in all its goodness. There's my tip... my question/favor is this: Can you please talk to him, and find out what's in it? I asked him once, but after having a few in me already I didn't remember (or write down) what he said it was. He had no problem talking about what was in the drink, but I wasn't smart (or sober) enough to make note of it. All I remember was rum, banana, mango, and either blueberry or strawberry, I'm just not sure. So... your mission, should you choose to accept it... is to find Lindell Christie on the Pool Deck of the Oasis, get a Lindell Special (or 2, 3, or 10), and find out what's in it and report back! The Meet-up @ the Oasis is tomorrow and still on! I'll be arriving around 11:45am, and will have my scope going. It's gonna turn into a turf war of the Cruise Critic people vs. the RC Blog people... Showdown on the Promenade...

Referring specifically to non-Hibachi variety of Izumi: I noticed Vision of the Seas has an Izumi, as does Anthem. I had the spicy miso ramen on Anthem and it was divine. I'll be on Vision in Feb and Apr 2018, in theory should that Izumi also offer it? I downloaded the menu from RC's website but didn't see it on there, but I also didn't see an indication that it was Vision-specific. The menu I downloaded for Anthem's Izumi said it had hot rock stuff, but when I went there they didn't have them... so, not sure how accurate the download menus are... Is each ship's Izumi unique, or do all Izumi's offer the same food options?

If you're on a Mac, you can make a keyboard shortcut (I use .rcca) so I type that in and it'll auto fill my Crown & Anchor number... or you can do the "post it stuck to the computer screen" method that works great too. :-D There's another benefit to booking more cruises... the more you have to enter the number, the quicker you'll memorize your C&A number then won't need the post it anymore.

I use Google Chrome, and whenever I go to RCCL I use an "Incognito Window" It doesn't save any history or cookies, so that way each time you go to Royal's website it treats you like it's your first time there... the reason the page goes white is because there are cookies, or temporary files, on your computer that go out of date and the site gets confused fairly easily. The process to open this type of window should be the same regardless of whether you're on a Mac or PC. For you Firefox and Safari folks, it's referred to as a "Private Window" but has the same functionality.

Can I bring glow sticks on board? If so there's totally gonna be glow parties everywhere...

I can't answer your question about the suites but as far as I know the $7.95 is per order, but I don't think that applies to suite guests.
