  1. Photo evidence that @Matt will be trying CK for dinner ? And thank you to @betatke1480 for having us ?
  2. @KathyC sorry this is coming so late. This is what was in that drink from Day 1. It’s the Cotton Canditini.
  3. CK Night 3 menu features two of my personal favourites again. Braised Beef Gnocchi (this dish was a bit over cooked tonight but still good) Grilled Tofu ? After dinner we went to watch Spectra’s Cabaret. @tiny260 and @CGTLH were also there. The difference between Spectra’s and The Gift is that you don’t expect Spectra’s to have a storyline so the random collection of acts is fine. The Gift you expect a storyline and even after the second time around, I still cannot tell you what it was really about. Ending off the night tonight in the Schooner Bar with piano. I love piano music. But I will save that for another blog...
  4. It is! Thanks to you, I am now addicted to these. Funny that while I was in there I ran into @Michael Vitale and his wife and a few others and they asked what I was drinking. I told them a fellow blog reader recommended it to me around Christmas time and I have loved it ever since. I swear they are getting stronger each night on this sailing though. ? Hmm...I seem to recall you sitting right behind me while taking that shot. Maybe you are a bot too? Does anyone really know what @CGTLH looks like? We need a bot name for you though. Lulubot and Original Bot are already taken. ?
  5. Day 3 - Bermuda Today marked our first time in Bermuda. Seeing that we have never visited the island before, we opted out of a beach excursion and decided to book a mini bus tour of the entire island. This tour is available through the cruise line or Viator. We opted to go with the cruise line directly. The cost was $89pp (Lowest at Black Friday) and it was well worth it. At 5 hours in length, the tour brings you literally around the entire island. Stops included Hamilton, St. George’s, and Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse. We lucked out in that our tour guide was very talkative, informative, and as he put it, “does not sugar coat anything”. I knew it would be a great tour as soon as he made that comment as I am the same way. Our tour did not feel particularly rushed. He even had time to let us get off at St. John’s beach for a bit (that was unplanned). We learned a lot about Bermuda today, the history of the island and their way of life in current day. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone visiting for the first time. It truly gives you a comprehensive, overall feel for the island. If we are fortunate to return, we now know which places we would want to focus in on. Attaching some pics from our day. ?: Hubby St. George Square St. John Beach Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse View from the lighthouse Our lunch stop today was in St. George’s. There are several little shops and bakeries in that area. We ended up at a local sandwich shop called Temptations. Great little place and friendly service.
  6. Tonight we wrapped it up with the late night show with Jim David. Funny guy. He had a hilarious idea for what to name the next Royal Caribbean ship...? Heading to bed now as we have an early start to the day tomorrow. We are in Bermuda and we have the Island tour booked. Probably won’t be updating much tomorrow until I get back.
  7. Tonight’s CK dinner features one of my personal favourites...the Valrhona Chocolate Bar All other items are the same as Night 2 on my previous Anthem blog (see link in signature below or on Pg. 1 of this blog). Hubby also got the Mascarpone Cheesecake. It was slightly strange tasting.
  8. Hubby suggested that I should strike a deal with @Matt...tequila shots for him to try CK ?
  9. Tonight I am thinking of @spiralqueen as the Rib Eye is on the menu at CK. But first a Lemon Drop martini in the Diamond Lounge.
  10. @kittysoul Hubby and the girls did this on Anthem last March. There are many who were not pros at skating and they were all out there. They also provide protective equipment should you need it.
  11. Going backwards... Welcome Party Scope by Jose Pena: https://www.pscp.tv/w/b--XmzF4TlFhYVJPT2V3UWJ8MXZPR3dxWkRPTnF4QuGlBPY6KRBkwLSDoaHVZzVL-Pr00EXWWDU-pSv7vKzg Bar crawl action covered by @CGTLH.
  12. Well maybe if you had not cancelled then I could have been persuaded lol I just started using the retinol serum, the caffeine eye serum, and the matrixyl serum. I am normally a Dermalogica girl. But I like The Ordinary so far.
  13. So, we slept wonderfully last night and did not wake up until about 10:15am. Hubby and D12 are still in bed. D10 and I wandered into the WJ as everything else was already done for breakfast. Awful place! We walked in and walked right back out. Told D10 that I could not do it. Pure madness in there! We wandered down to the Esplanade to grab some milk and pound cake. That was breakfast. Currently wandered into a napkin folding class while we wait for 270 to open for lunch. Still no sign of Hubby and D12. ? This afternoon we have a meet up at 1pm and the bar crawl at 2:30pm. I am sure some scopes will follow...
  14. Truthfully, I did not like it. I was guilty of abandoning a drink today after two sips. It was that one. #teamDX ? It sure was pretty though. D12 wanted to know if it was available in a non-alcoholic version ?
