I mix the free iced tea with the free lemonade and make an Arnold Palmer. Delicious!

Went on Ovation to Alaska out of Seattle last August. Stopped at Ketchikan, Skagway, Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier, Juneau, and Victoria, British Columbia. Weather was kind of rainy but temps were comfortable. Enjoyed mostly every second of the cruise. I say mostly because I didn't care much for Victoria. Got off the ship and pretty much right back on. Can't wait to do it again someday!

We are celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary

 

 

 

 

This will be a 27th anniversary present for my wife and I in Oct.

 

 

Congrats to you both on your anniversaries! My wife and I will be celebrating our 45th anniversary on March 17th (yes St. Patty's Day) and then boarding the Adventure OTS the next day on the 18th.

Woop woop sorry for the childish exclamations I am in my 40's after all, in 4 days I will be climbing on board a plane in the UK to travel to San Juan for my first ever a. Cruise and b. Time in the Caribbean, on the Adventure of the Seas, excited doesn't begin to cover it.

On my last cruise my son, son-in-law, and me went down to the casino on a sea day. Now I'm not a gambler so was just going to kill time and maybe watch my son/sil. They went to a table game called 'Let it Ride' and I mosied around just looking at things. Eventually I went up to a slot machine and put $10 in. Hit the max credits button a couple times when all of the sudden I hit 3 red, white, and blue 7's! Played it down to $100 left, cashed in the ticket which put me $90 ahead and never put another dime in the rest of the cruise :D

What was amazing, was, we witnessed a fight (incredibly childish) during the belly flop contest (both participants were sloshed) - it lasted maybe 30 seconds because Security was on it at lightening speed, most folks probably never noticed it......which is a good thing.

 

Don't you just love when some guys get hammered like that their testosterone levels increase? In my circle we used to refer to that as "growing beer muscles". ;)

 

I had a AMEX Gold Card when I was 18, did that really mean anything? And now Gold is not good enough, AMEX ran through the metal cards, gold, platinum, etc, and now they are back to basic understated black.

 

I have an AMEX "blue" card that is actually clear.
