bjt0315 got a reaction from MylesDots in What constitutes "carry-on" luggage?
Our cruise leaves Saturday morning, but we're driving down Friday evening so our bags are all packed and ready to go. My husband and I each have a carry-on bag: one small roller (19x13x7.5) and one smaller actual carry bag (14x5.5x11.5). Does my small purse count as an additional carry-on or will I need to try and cram it into one of the other two prior to boarding? Thanks!

You can carry on as much as you can carry yourselves.  The only stipulation is that they must fit through regularly airport sized x-ray machines.  Based on the dimensions you've provided, your bags will fit.

While you are not limited on the number of bags you can carry on, keep in mind that rooms will not be available until 1 or 2 p.m.; thus, you'll need to carry the bags with you until that time.

Our email confirmation we got for our cruise shows an onboard credit. I've seen some people say it may show up for use with the cruise planner, but we're 7 days out and it isn't showing. We are traveling with others who booked the trip for everyone through a travel agent. I'm guessing that makes the difference.

Anyway, my real questions is this: Once we're on board, how does that credit work? Will any extra purchases we make be taken from that before being taken from our credit card used for the onboard expense account?

Juices are largely only available in the morning.  However, you will be able to get milk, water, lemonade, iced tea, and regular coffee and hot tea at meals.  At the Windjammer, you will need to request milk at any time other than breakfast.  There's also some kind of flavored drink at the Windjammer (buffet) at most meals.

The minibar is just like that in a hotel room.  You pay if you consume anything within it at normal bar prices.

Remember that you can bring on two bottles of wine without charge and even take them to the restaurants as well.  Sodas will run about $2.50-$3 or so per can, or you can opt for the soda package.

There are always a few juices, and basic coffee, in the Windjammer (buffet), and Park Café, when they're open. That's about it for free drinks as far as I know.
