You simply give your guess as to the price of a Peter Max artwork to the art gallery representative. They will take your name, stateroom #, and price guess on a clipboard. The winner is then announced at a later time, usually in one of the lounges. The winner receives a prize. (I don't remember the prize, possibly an OBC to your account). Must be present at the announcement to win. I'll never know if I or my wife were even close on our guesses, we forgot about it and did not go the the price reveal.

FYI: I asked RCCL if they give referral bonuses a couple months ago and was told that if you're sailing with first-time cruisers, you can receive "Refer A Friend OBC"! Not sure how much OBC you get since I was, unfortunately, not sailing with the people I have referred.

If you want frozen & fruity, my wife's new favorite from the Schooner Bar on Grandeur this year was "Kiss On The Lips": Peach Schnapps, Mango Mix, Grenadine, & Crushed Ice.

In January, a flight schedule change made us need to get from the Baltimore port to the Reagan airport in DC. We simply did a one-way car rental about a mile from the port (Hertz) and chose for the Reagan airport to be our drop off location. It actually ended up being less than other forms of transport. This can give you the freedom to go where you want, have a place for your bags, and get you to the airport when you need to!

Does anyone know if/when the Casino opens on embarkation day out of Baltimore? It looks to be a good long way until the ship reaches open water. (about 250+ miles?) I don't NEED to gamble as soon as possible, just curious. Sailing on Grandeur of the Seas this coming Thursday, January 11th! Thanks. Steve S.

We sailed on Rhapsody last January. On our Cozumel ruins and beach excursion on the other side of the island, we visited a tequila maker on the way back known as Arc Angel. We had several samples the SMOOTHEST tequila I have ever tasted & our server, Fernando, was a very fun & cheerful guy. We just had to bring a bottle back & each time I open it I'm glad I did. ( I'm running low, though!) Hopefully, I'm writing this in time for you to read this since you gave a departure date on "early January". Happy Sailing! Steve
